Professional, communicative, and dogged
We had a tricky, specific vision we wanted to see played out in our hunt for a new home, and you were right there with us every step. Your guidance and directness through the whole process was a gift, and especially given that we were looking for a "lite farm", your hands on experience with your own and deep understanding of the value of infrastructure and how to spot good and bad ones was invaluable. In the process of our hunt, you taught us a lot of practical realities of what it means to live on property and the systems that sustain you out in the country. It is truly because of you that we have, thus far, transitioned so well. Not only that, but you navigated particularly...challenging...sellers and went to bat for us every time. The tightrope of negotiation is a tricky one and I was relieved to have a partner whose values and risk analysis were so similar to mine.
And in preparing and listing my home for sale- I can't tell you what your sensitivity to my attachment to this home meant. You understood deeply the emotional process of it and guided me through that as well as the logistics with ease and grace. I so loved and appreciated that I could hand the keys and the listing off to you with total trust, and appreciated the expectations you set and followed through on around communication- ensuring that I had the goldilocks amount- not too little, and not too much.
Both sides of my transactions were not without their "quirks", and your humor, professionalism, communication, initiative and experience made those difficulties far less difficult than they could have been.
