Kim personally calls the west Puget Sound/Key Peninsula her home; however, her real estate territory encompasses a broad-ranging area both north, south, east, and west of the I-5 corridor. She makes it her job to keep current with the varied territories in our region. This makes it possible for her to specialize in working with out-of-state buyers looking to relocate to the Puget Sound, investors looking to expand their holdings, or buyers and sellers seeking to work with an "individual" rather than simply a "local." Kim specializes in equestrian and rural/country properties (homes and land), unique character homes, waterfront/water view homes, and city lofts or condos. She also has a background in building, remodeling, renovating, decorating, staging, farm planning, and design. This broad-ranging set of experiences contributes to her unique ability to find the right property for buyers and to market property for her sellers. In addition to real estate, Kim also owns Zarcrossed Farm Sporthorses - breeding warmbloods and offering reproductive services to other breeders in the PNW.  (ZarcrossedFarm.com)

"Kim was truly wonderful and really understood what I wanted versus what my husband was looking for as well. This is a tough housing market and I wouldn't have want to have anyone else but Kim. She understands the market and goes above and beyond to get your offer accepted. She was empathetic when our offers weren't accepted and was super energetic in making sure she found us what we were looking for in a home. Once our offer was accepted, she was there every step of the way, explaining what was going on and what was going to happen next. I sincerely thank Kim for finding us such a perfect home and for being so wonderful throughout the whole process. Kim will be my lifelong realtor. I really can't say enough wonderful things about this woman! "- Heather Lukashin

When the going gets tough, the tough get going! Kim did exactly that and did an amazing job in the process. She never gave up despite multiple on both sides of the transaction. Her conflict resolution skills are second to none. She negotiated feverishly and worked with honesty and integrity all the way to closing and beyond. She's a true broker's broker! She's the best of the best!!! I highly recommend Kim!Donald Bartlett
Because of Kim, we just closed a hard fought sale that took more than year. It was an estate sale, so it was an emotional as well as fiscal roller coaster. Through it all, Kim was shepherding us, giving us insight and providing an intelligent analysis of the market and the practicalities of selling what was a ‘challenging’ property. To say I highly recommend her is an understatement. Hard work and professional excellence laced with a deep understanding how the real estate market works sets her apart. Her pithy sense of humor is the cherry on top. Mark Sparks
Kim was invaluable for overseeing the contractual agreements and making sure our interest and needs were well met in our recent home sale. The purchase of our new home was beyond difficult for her, as our requirements were very different from that of a usual home buyer. We needed about 2 acres, big home, move in ready or minimal work, and be allowed to have my 2 goats. A difficult task to say the least. Kim showed us several homes that fit those search parameters until we finally found the perfect fit. Kim went above and beyond to make sure our requests were met, and took the time and genuinely cared about making sure we were happy, start to finish. I highly doubt there are many agents that would be willing to take the time to drive several hours one way, on numerous occasions, with 2 people and a small service dog, looking for that needle in a hay stack. Well, she found it, and we couldn’t be happier or more grateful for everything she did. We highly recommend her, if she can make us happy, she has the patience of a saint, and the dedication and determination of only the most disciplined individuals. Kayla Kennedy
As someone who has worked with RE professionals the past 10 years, I felt I didn't someone helping me & my folks find a new home. The idea was to find something nice and affordable while they fixed up their current house to sell. We came upon this nice little condo that seemed to be perfect! Problem was, it was a non-warrantable condo so after much a-do, the deal fell through. Kim was the Seller's agent and just felt really bad - but she worked really hard to help my folks (they are in their mid-60's). I really liked her - she was honest and showed real class. So that's when we decided to ask her to help us find a home. I've known a lot of RE people and Kim is definitely NOT like any of them. She has her own unique sense of being that really vibed with us and worked tirelessly to get us into the right home. And didn't quit until it was done. Thank you Kim for being you, for helping us, and for all your great advice while we were looking. You're a real gem!Shana Casey
Kim was our agent. She was excellent to work with and we would absolutely hire her again.I am an architect and have worked with numerous realtors through my 40 years of practice. They come with all levels of competence. Of all I've worked with we were pleased to find Kim as we looked for our new home. She is one of the most professional and personable realtors I have ever worked with. Her name was given to us by our B&B host as we considered moving from California to Washington. We met her initially as we began our search for property and were impressed with her understanding and knowledge of the area. Besides that we were even more impressed with the amount of time she devoted to our search. I have never worked with a realtor who devoted so much time to one client and I know we weren't the only ones she was working with at the time. Not sure how much sleep she gets but her days start very early judging by emails she sent us!She represented us very well as we negotiated for the purchase of our home. Our closing was simple and straightforward in large part due to her efforts. We are not horse people, however she is. And friends of ours who own horses say she is very knowledgeable about horses, horse breeding and horse properties. Good luck with your property search; I'm confident Kim will make it both easier and more enjoyable.Barton Wolfe
I've worked with Kim twice - the first time a few years ago when we purchased an unusual property on 1.5 acres in Olympia where Kim was the listing agent, and six months ago when we bought an adjacent vacant lot. The property had a few quirks and Kim was wide open with everything there was to know about it. We didn't have a local agent of our own and were purchasing it from a distance -- Chicago -- where the custom is that all parties have their own agent PLUS a real estate attorney -- so there had to be a lot of trust there. And from the get-go we felt that there was. Kim is forthright and honest and prompt in her communications, and down-to-earth and contagiously upbeat as a person. Yes, I'd hire Kim again, absolutely.-Jill Archer

*We met Kim when we were looking for a vacation property a couple years ago. She was the listing agent for one property that we viewed. We found her to be very friendly and informative. She readily addressed all the questions that we had. After going as far as having a home inspection done, we decided that this was not the property for us, so our search continued. At the time, we did not have an agent that we were working with, so we talked some more and decided that we would like to work with her moving forward. I should also note that I have friends in the real estate business and could have used them as a buyer's agent as well, but something just seemed to fit with Kim. Over the following months, she did a great job finding us possibilities, each time learning what we liked or did not like about that particular piece of property. Finally, Kim found the opportunity that we were looking for. Long story short, we bought the property and are very happy with that decision. I can tell you that we would have not found it without Kim's help and persistence on our behalf.
Would we hire Kim again? Absolutely, positively yes. I am old school when it comes to finding people with skills that I need. Once I find the perfect person, I stick with them and Kim fits the bill. We've gotten to know each other and maintain a great friendship to this day. There are many real estate agents available these days, but the number of really excellent ones is a much smaller list. If we were in the market for a horse property, I could tell you that I would definitely be using Kim as my agent. That is her passion and she knows the landscape. No need to look any further.           -Jeffrey Fong
*Kim was amazing to work with! Prompt service and replies, knowledgeable about the area and expectations, friendly, and just all around a pleasure. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to expand, change, or reduce their real estate holdings!
