How it Works

When an agent asks us for a Mentor, we consult our list of agents in their area who have signed up to be Mentors. We then go through the list and contact the agents who have signed up to see who is available. 

Once we have found a Mentor who is available, we send an email to the Mentor and Mentee with each other’s contact information and the Mentor Agreement.

 Both the Mentor and Mentee will need to sign the Mentor Agreement and send it to Stefanie at  sfarrel@kellyright.com to start the mentorship. Stefanie will then be able to track the commissions. Please put a note (example: in your commission summary) in Paperless Pipeline that this is a Mentorship transaction. See here for Paperless Pipeline help and instructions.

Mentor Program

Kelly Right Real Estate offers a mentor program as an excellent way to facilitate and encourage new agents (Mentee) to learn, grow, share and build their business while under the watchful eye of a more established and experienced real estate professional (Mentor). 

This program is designed to establish the relationship from the initial sign up period through the first 3 completed/closed transactions. The Mentee will agree to giving the Mentor a 30% commission split on the first 3 transactions. The Mentor will agree to be available for and make a concerted effort to provide guidance and support all the way through the transaction.

There is also a commission addendum available that is designed to provide flexibility when a Mentor and Mentee choose to make adjustments to the 30% commission structure.

We require the mentor to have a strong background in knowledge and experience to offer new agents, not only support in an active transaction, but also the ability to explain the industry, market, contracts, and client needs.

Mentors will need to make a real commitment to teach and help the Mentee grow.  Mentees need to understand that the Mentor’s time and experience are valuable, and their advice is well worth the 30% offered to the Mentor.

Final review and consultation will be available by the Designated Broker/Principal Broker.  All transactions are still and will continue to be the responsibility of the Designated/Principal Broker and Kelly Right Real Estate. New Teams Joining Kelly Right

All Team Members Must Sign the Independent Contractor Agreement:

  • Each agent on the team must fill out the New Agent Paperwork as normal to join our brokerage. If we are paying each team member’s commission disbursement, then we need the agent’s bank information. If the team leader has an LLC and will be paying the team member’s commission disbursements, then we do not need their bank information. We will need to have each team member’s credit card on file for each agent to be billed the monthly dues.
  • We need on file a breakdown of how the commissions get split within the group, signed by each teammate.
  • Each team of agents must have their own separate bank account for the commissions to be received if we are distributing the commission directly to the team members. Each commission disbursement payment will be charged the $189 transaction fee.
  • Team members need to have contracts signed with their team.
  • When creating your team agreement, consider, do you want a monthly type of split to remain the same, or use an outlined split based on # of transactions to ramp up agent experience and maintain the team? *See the articles below for an examples of: team agreements, commission splits, team structures and team member expectations.

Agent Facebook Networking Group

This is a private facebook group for current Kelly Right Real Estate agents and employees. The purpose of this group is to network with each other, ask questions and learn. 

Feel free to ask about referrals, hosting open houses, questions regarding marketing tactics and other real estate situations.

$350 Referral Bonus through June 30, 2024, after which you will be paid the standard $200 per referral.

Agent Referral Rewards Policies

*We will direct deposit the referral payment to you after the Referral Agent joins any of our locations and has paid 3 months of standard membership dues once promotional or free periods have elapsed. Returning Kelly Right agents do not qualify. The Referring Agent’s name must be listed on the Referral Agent’s joining paperwork’s “Referred By” line, OR this Agent Referral Rewards Form must be submitted to Kelly Right prior to the Referral Agent joining.

If there are multiple claims for the referral payment, we will split the referral payment between all Referring Agents listed.  If there is a discrepancy, we will default full payment to who the Referred Agent has written as their Referral source on their joining paperwork’s “Referred By” line.
