I finally made it out of the big city! After a long career in the various real estate fields based in Western Washington, I finally made it across the Cascades into Eastern Washington and beyond, full time several years ago. I got my start playing with property back in the 1990’s, flipping houses in the Seattle area as a real estate investor. I caught the real estate bug hard core and pursued a Real Estate career focused in the Escrow closing and Title insurance side of the business, along with a short stop in the mortgage lending industry. I’ve made real estate my primary focus professionally.
Like so many of my clients, I knew a long time ago that I wanted out of the city. I initially chose the beautiful Klickitat Valley to stake my claim back in the mid 1990’s and spent every opportunity here as I possibly could. I had a long-term goal of creating a homestead and going “back to the land” as soon as I could create a financial situation that would make that dream a reality. Spending over 20 years driving back and forth to spend long weekends, I finally saw my opportunity to make the move and seized it with both hands in the Fall of 2016. This was well ahead of the latest rounds of political and social unrest that have made the cities even more of a wildcard for long-term stability. Now the bulk of my clients are among the political and or medical refugees fleeing to a more stable area where they will be surrounded by like minded individuals.
I had initially thought my dream of homesteading would be enough to keep me busy and content. However, after spending my entire career working closely with the people, the realities of a quiet life on the land proved to be just too quiet and I knew I needed to get back into the real estate business and back serving my customers. I looked forward to a challenge and chose to try a new angle on real estate through getting licensed to sell real estate.
It didn’t take me long to realize that this side of the business was my true calling. I now spend my days working with both buyers and sellers in some of the most beautiful locations in the entire country. I'm privileged to be spending my time throughout both Eastern Washington and Northern Idaho. I look forward to assisting you with all your real estate needs, whatever and wherever they might be! We relocated to WA from out of state. Scott made what is normally a very difficult process extremely easy and bearable. Everything from giving us a tour of some properties while we were in town and explaining the local market to us, to the video walk though of the property that we finally settled on while we were back at our old home, and even arranging and being present at the various inspections that were performed in our absence so that we knew the house we were buying was in great shape.
